QATAR AIRWAYS OFFERS SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY FARES FROM NEW AFRICAN GATEWAY OF WINDHOEK
Qatar Airways will start operations to Namibian capital, Windhoek, from 28 September

WINDHOEK, Namibia – Qatar Airways has announced special introductory fares for its new African gateway, to celebrate the commencement of services to Windhoek on 28 September 2016.

The special inaugural fare offers a discount of 25 per cent on bookings made between 23 August and 15 September 2016, and is valid for travel between 28 September 2016 and 20 June 2017. Qatar Airways is offering this promotional fare on both Economy and Business Class travel.

Passengers can book their tickets online at qatarairways.com or via their preferred travel agent.

Qatar Airways will operate four weekly non-stop flights from Windhoek and connect via Doha to more than 150 destinations offering a smooth and efficient transfer at the airline’s home and hub, Hamad International Airport. Some of the most popular destinations for passengers travelling to and from Windhoek are Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, London, Paris, Rome and Vienna.

While transferring at Hamad International Airport in Doha, passengers will be able to enjoy one of the world’s largest and most luxurious Business Class lounges – the award-winning Al Mourjan Business Lounge – offering more than 40,000 square metres of retail space and restaurants that include a selection of more than 70 retail and 30 food and beverage outlets, in addition to an airside hotel, spa, gym, squash courts and swimming pool.

Skytrax’s World’s Best Business Class airline and three-time Airline of the Year, Qatar Airways will serve Windhoek with its state-of-the-art B787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring 254 seats in a two-class configuration of 22 seats in Business Class and 232 in Economy. The aircraft will also feature the airline's award-winning entertainment system offering a fully interactive audio and video system of up to 3,000 options. gibt es da eine Quelle, Qatar weiß nichts davon, habe eben bei Qatar angerufen...
Buchbar nur die Preise wie auf der Internetseite, ist auch nichts "eingepreist"

die Preise sind online so buchbar (habe spaßeshalber mal einige Daten angeguckt - das ist schon alles sehr günstig). Ich habe die Info per Pressemitteilung von Qatar (siehe hier angehängt) bekommen.

nur zur Info:
habe eben nochmal bei Qatar angerufen - also die Wartezeit ist leider minus 5 Sterne - 2x ca. 35 Min Warteschleife...
Leider ist es noch nicht bekannt, dass es dieses Spezial geben soll - sie haben es an die ecommerce Abteilung nach Katar geschickt und warten auf schriftl. Antwort. Ende nächster Woche soll ich mich noch einmal melden.
Ich habe diese Nacht um 2 Uhr mein Ticket für Ende September gebucht.
Werde berichten, falls es jemanden interessiert.

Deswegen kennt das hierzulande niemand. Deswegen taucht es nicht auf der deutschsprachigen Website auf und deswegen erscheint es auch nicht wie sonst jede Qatar-Promoaktion beim Fratzenbuch.

Der günstigste Standardtarif (Economy Saver, Roundtrip) auf der Route FRA-WDH-FRA scheint bei Qatar 569 EUR zu sein. In Gegenrichtung also WDH-FRA-WDH kann man aktuell Tickets für 427 EUR (6534 NAD) buchen, was genau 25% Discount entspräche.
