Zu meiner grossen Freude finden immer mehr afrikabegeisterte mittlerweile auch den Weg nach Uganda.
Falls jemand sich immer noch unsicher ist was das Reisen ins "unbekannte" östliche Afrika sprich Uganda angeht, dem möchte ich die Einladung von Douglas ans Herz legen. Douglas wird auch 2018 wieder auf der ITB alle Fragen um das Reisen in Uganda beantworten.

We provide both ordinary 4x4s and roof-tents/ bush campers to adventure tourists and operate in Uganda and the Great Lakes region of East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi). Our company which has experience of over 16 years has been privileged to support a lot of clients over the years some of whom have written nice articles about us and their experience while driving in Uganda through the Namibian Forum, Lonely Planet online, Bradt, Petit Fute, Reise-know-how amongst other fora.

Besides individual prospective clients, we are constantly seeking to increase our presence and awareness about our services through partnerships and linkages with European tour operators that wish to send clients to Uganda for some of the major highlights which include the famous Mountain Gorillas, Chimpanzees, source of the World’s longest River Nile, nature, culture, people, birds and a host of several other unique tourist attractions and experiences our country Uganda or the region offers. It is mostly people from this continent who come to our region.

Please note that we can organize private Safaris for individuals/groups and we represent tour operators who are not physically located in the country providing support to them like they were located locally. We can assist with buying of gorilla and chimp permits, organise hotel accommodation on behalf of clients, special services like boat riding on Lake Victoria, mountain climbing, balloon shows for getaway clients etc etc.

You are welcome to visit us at the ITB Berlin from March 7th - 11th 2017 and Alpha Rent A Car will be participating as a trade visitor although we are exploring the prospects of getting a table in the Ugandan section.
