The lioness has been located and shot, together with her 2 cubs. She was lame with a huge scar/sore around her neck from a snare, poor thing, not able to hunt due to her disablilities - (from man) and looking for food for herself and cubs, or course this was easier prey for her. It is a very sad scenario, and just makes me cross. When an animal tastes human flesh or kills a human, the animal has to be found and killed. And why was the lion disabled? because of man, its always man interfering. Its funny but when humans kill animals and eat them, no-one goes after the human to kill him/her!!? Anyway the lioness will be with her cubs in animal heaven.
Yesterday The Zim Tourism Authority in Kariba, Tendayi Mushangwe, was hospitalised - he survived a crocodile attack at poplular fishing bay near Lake Harvest.
