Moin TravelNamibia,
SAA staff exodus gets worse
South African Airways has lost \"over 400 technical staff over the latter half of this year\", mainly to poaching by foreign firms.

Safety not compromised, says SAA
South African Airways' technical division says it will not allow staff shortages to compromise the safety of its passengers, and has vowed that employees will not \"take shortcuts in their work\".

Exodus of SAA staff raises fears
Van Dyk questioned the retrenchment of more than 1 000 employees, as part of restructuring, when it was battling to fill 240 technical vacancies. The airline has also lost 53 pilots over the past year, despite setting aside R4-million for retention incentives.
